What is OCD?

OCD, or Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder, is a mental health condition characterized by persistent, unwanted thoughts (obsessions) and repetitive behaviors or mental acts (compulsions). People with OCD often feel compelled to perform these rituals or routines in response to the distressing and intrusive thoughts. OCD can significantly interfere with daily activities and relationships, causing distress and anxiety.
